Aldini Capital’s mandates are typically tailored to each client and to their own requirements. As a standard, Aldini Capital usually works on an exclusivity basis, with an adequate retainer covering the initial deployment of our resources and a success fee on transactional value upon concluding a deal.

The commodities and trading division has been established to focus on proprietary, client commodity trading as well as trade & commodity finance. A logical extension to our decades long expertise in alternative investments, the commodities division acts as a distributor and trader of the key commodity groups including gold, semi-precious metals, oil & gas, fertilizers and soft commodities.

HISTORY
Since 1958
Our roots stretch back to the foundation in 1958 in Zurich, Switzerland. Aldini Capital was founded originally as part of the PKB Privatbank group. PKB is a respected Swiss Private Banking group with USD 15Bio in assets under management and as such our roots stretch back to the group’s foundation in Switzerland.
Today, Aldini Capital is an international advisory and merchant banking firm with offices and professional networks across the world. Our business focuses on traditional merchant banking for our UHNW clients and for our institutional and corporate relationships. Aldini Capital continues to actively promote and honour values of trust, close relationships and global networks across the world’s most pre-eminent financial centres and investment markets.
It is these close relationships of trust which allow us to excel in proprietary, off market transaction origination and flawless execution across the world of financial services.
While remaining true to its core values of traditional merchant banking, the original founding group has constantly strived to innovate. In the 1980s, the group opened new offices across Switzerland and developed its comprehensive offering to support UHNW private bankers and their clients.
In the 1990s, the group expanded overseas for the first time opening a bank in Antigua, British West Indies. At the time, we were also one of the first European pioneers to embrace alternative investments building a USD 2bio portfolio of alternative assets under management. Corporate Advisory & Alternative Investments were grouped under EIH Endurance Holding SA, which became a group holding company.
In the 2000s, we expanded to emerging markets to take advantage of changing global economic growth and opened offices across Asia and the Middle East.
We also expanded our service offering across alternative investments to include private equity, commodities & real estate alongside our traditional focus on hedge funds.
Following a successful MBO in 2010, Aldini Capital separated from EIH and PKB and is now privately owned by our Principals and the firm’s management.
